In principle, we developed software like any other company of any other sector. But, then, what makes us different from the other companies?

The people. All the members of a project are highly qualified with a great experience on developing software for Space Systems. They have a great training and knowledge about the latest tools and techniques for software development. Usually they are aircraft, telecommunications or computer science engineers.
Quality. All the systems that we develop fulfil the expectations and totally satisfy our customer's needs. Besides, they fulfil strict quality norms.

Methodologies. In all the systems that we develop we use methodologies and standards widely recognized and accepted. Normally, we use ESA standards or the ones established by the customer. This implies that all the procedures and the steps are clearly defined and detailed
Tests. Software that we develop is delivered to customer completely tested and verified. For it, tests are made during all the stages of the development, being able to get to make independent validation of software or cover tests.
Documentation. From the requirements and system design documents to the installation and operation manuals going through the validation and verification plans. All the documentation required by the project is carefully generated and reviewed by the quality team of the project and by the quality team of the final customer.

Besides, the documentation is another deliverable more of a project almost as important as the software system.
Warranty. All the systems that we develop have a period of guarantee that covers defects and maintenance with the system. This way we guarantee our customers that the system fulfils the initial requirements.

Know-how. Accumulated knowledge of the company personnel throughout the projects developed. This is an important DAT asset since it is a differentiating element in regards to other companies and one of the key factors of the DAT success.
